EDITORIAL STANDARDS & CORRECTIONS

RingsideWire is an independent wrestling news, analysis and video destination operated under CTNETWORK. We cover WWE, AEW, NJPW, TNA and wrestling history. We are not an official website of those promotions.

Two different kinds of news coverage

Our Live Wire section automatically collects short headlines and links from external wrestling news publishers. Headlines there identify the original publisher and open the publisher's actual story. A Live Wire item is not original reporting by RingsideWire, and it should not be read as independent confirmation of the source's claims.

Our Original Articles section includes CTNETWORK-written commentary and analysis. We identify factual sources within each piece and separate sourced events from editorial interpretations. An original article is not an exclusive firsthand report unless it is expressly labeled and supported as such.

Research, reviews and corrections

Before publishing an original news-related article, the editorial workflow checks names, dates, match announcements and key factual claims against available source reporting or official announcements. It also checks source links, art relevance, duplicate subjects and related media. Claims that remain uncertain should be identified as such or omitted, rather than presented as established fact.

Wrestling stories develop quickly. If an article becomes inaccurate or incomplete, we may update it. Where a meaningful correction changes the reader's understanding, we will make the change clear within the article. Requests for corrections may be submitted using our contact page with the article URL and the relevant evidence.

Video and dramatization disclosures

CTNETWORK produces original wrestling news recaps, debates, storytelling and documentaries. Commentary videos may use original still graphics, narration, editing, and AI-generated illustrative imagery. Dramatizations and illustrative graphics must not be presented as authentic archival footage of historical events. Embedded videos are hosted on the official Ringside Wrestling YouTube channel.

Headlines, imagery and advertising

Images and editorial headlines should be relevant to the actual story. We do not use an unrelated wrestler's photograph to imply an event that did not happen. Official trademarks and the names of wrestling organizations are referenced for identification, reporting and commentary, not to claim an endorsement.
